  1. previously I thought of being articulate as the clarity of how you speak. but now it feels more like knowing how to speak in a specific scenario. being articulate now feel like knowing how to speak clearly even when changing between styles of speech.
  2. It challenges traditional views of being articulate by using phrases one would not use in a formal environment. the constant switching between manners of speech challenges articulation by still having a clear message throughout the switches.
  3. she is trying to communicate that language evolves with the people that use it. that even informal terms have rules for how they are used. she is communicating that language evolves when people from other cultures and walks of life use it.
  4. she is using a formal teaching tone, an accented tone, and informal lingo and constantly switching between them. her style of speaking sounds like she is reading poetry or singing rap music.
  5. I am often told at home that i have an attitude but i never intend to be rude. other than that I can not think of many cases where i know that my manner of speaking has influenced someone's perception of me.
